BuddhaChat Child Safety Standards

Zero tolerance: BuddhaChat prohibits child sexual abuse and exploitation (CSAE) and child sexual abuse material (CSAM) across all Community, Q&A, messaging, profile, and media features.

Prohibited Conduct and Content

Users must not create, upload, request, share, link to, promote, or facilitate content or conduct that:

Sexualizes, exploits, abuses, grooms, solicits, traffics, or otherwise endangers a child.
Contains or facilitates CSAM, including real, altered, generated, or illustrated material that depicts or sexualizes a child.
Attempts to obtain sexual content from a child, move a child to a private channel for exploitation, or engage in sextortion.
Identifies, threatens, blackmails, or targets a child for sexual purposes.

How to Report a Concern

In a BuddhaChat Dojo conversation, use the message actions to select Report. You may also select Block to stop seeing messages from that account.
In BuddhaChat Q&A, use the visible Report action on a question or comment.
For urgent or sensitive child-safety concerns, email our designated contact at buddhachat.app@gmail.com. Do not attach or forward suspected CSAM by email. Provide only the information needed to locate the content or account.

If a child is in immediate danger, contact local emergency services or law enforcement.

Our Response

We review child-safety reports and take action appropriate to the evidence and applicable law. Actions may include removing content, restricting or terminating accounts, preserving relevant records, and preventing further distribution. We do not tolerate retaliation against people who report child-safety concerns in good faith.

Legal Compliance and Reporting

BuddhaChat complies with applicable child-safety laws and regulations. When we confirm apparent CSAM or another reportable child-safety offense, we will preserve and report relevant information to the National Center for Missing & Exploited Children (NCMEC) or the appropriate regional authority as required by applicable law.
